Coronado Eye Care has partnered with the Bausch & Lomb ONE by ONE Recycling Program to help ensure contact lens waste is properly recycled. Bring in your used lenses, blister packs, and separated top foils from ALL BRANDS to our office and drop them off in our collection bin!
Non-patients are welcome to stop in and use our recycling bin.
Our office is open for drop offs Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Make a big environmental impact with this small step!
Standard recycling methods are not designed for small plastics, which are typically filtered out and end up in landfills. Worse yet, lenses disposed of down the drain or through a flush can end up as microplastics in our waterways, harm fish, and enter the food supply.
There's a better way! Once your contact lens waste is collected in our recycle bin, ONE by ONE upcycles your contributions along with other materials to become playground sets, park benches, and more things that can be enjoyed out in nature. Learn more at BauschRecycles.com.
For every 10 pounds of contact lens waste collected at our office, a $10 donation will be made to Optometry Giving Sight -- a global fundraising initiative aiming to solve unnecessary blindness and vision impairment.
